The Macro-Finance Forum is jointly organized by the Economic Research Institute of the Bank of Korea, the Macroeconomic Research Network, and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). .
This forum, established in February 2025 by merging the previous Finance Research Forum and Macro Research Forum, serves as a platform for academic exchange, sharing the latest research findings and theoretical discussions in the fields of macroeconomics and finance.
The forum is held on the first Friday of every month (or the second Friday if it coincides with a public holiday) at the Bank of Korea. For the months of March to June and September to December, the Macroeconomic Research Network selects the presenters. For January to February and July to August, presenters are selected through pre-registration by the Economic Research Institute of the Bank of Korea.
