The majority of members shared the view that, in overall consideration of the domestic and international financial and economic environment, it would be desirable to hold the Base Rate at its current 3.00% level at this meeting.

     However, member Sung Hwan Shin argued for cutting it from the current 3.00% level to 2.75%.
