바젤은행감독위원회(BCBS)
설립목적 및 활동영역
BCBS는 전 세계 은행의 건전성 규제 표준을 제정하고 금융시스템 안정을 강화하는 데 역량을 집중하고 있으며, 현재 또는 잠재 리스크 파악, 감독 현안 및 기법 공유, 회원국들의 규제 표준 이행 상황 점검 등의 활동을 수행하고 있다.
한국은행의 활동
한국은행은 2009년 3월 회원기관으로 가입한 이후 중앙은행총재 및 감독기구수장 회의, 바젤위원회, 정책개발소위 회의 등에 참석하여 회원기관으로서 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있다. 특히 유동성규제, 시스템적 중요 금융기관 규제 등 금융규제 개혁과제에 우리나라와 신흥국 입장이 반영되도록 노력하고 있다.
